A list of the upcoming programmes for Study Week (17th Aug - 21th Aug )

1. Monday.

Japanese Students from Class 1 required to be present in S522 at 10am for E-Assessment, Role Play & Written Test. However, I ( Ummi ) suggested to meet up earlier around 9? To discuss the E-Assessment. * winkwink * Heh, so 9am? On? Let me know. Thanks.

2. Tuesday.

IMB Presentation will be held at 11am. Venue, I'm not really sure yet. Will update you all asap. Phy Chem tutorial at 1pm @ Q517. To discuss tutorials for electrochem & radioactivity, so get them done beforehand. Thanks.

3. Wednesday.

All students required to be present in LT M-5 at 9am for Maths Quiz 3&4. The quiz is about differentation & intergration, so study hard? After the quiz, there will be a revision class for the upcoming exams, combined with other classes as well. I'm not really sure whether it's compulsory but strongly advised to attend the class. (:

4. Thursday & Friday.

Nothing on schedule as of yet, & hopefully not. Take this time to mug hard for the upcoming semestral exams? (:

Lastly, I just wanna wish you all the BESTEST OF LUCK in the upcoming exams. How's the quarantine going on eh? :D

Alright, just a few more days till we make an appearance back in school. & we've got LOADS to do. * groans *

1. MODULE FEEDBACK.

It's COMPULSORY so get it done. Here's the link. By THURSDAY peeps.

2. NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATION.

It's COMPULSORY, so if you don't wish to attend, MC will be needed. & there IS classes before the celebration itself which is from 3-5.30pm. SO ATTEND THE LESSONS! Also, dress in red or white. Preferably all red tops alright? CLASS SPIRIT YO! (:

3. THERMOCHEMISTRY QUIZ.

There was supposed to be during this week, but since of the quarantine, it's been pushed back to next week. SO STUDY! Thanks.

4. FRENCH.

There is a make up lesson, on Wednesday from 2pm-4pm. For BOTH classes. Venue to be confirmed later. Ask SHAQIL.

5. PHYSICAL CHEM.

Make-up lecture held by Dr. Subra. Most probably Tuesday after school. Will update you all asap.

6. IMB PROJECT.

IMB project presentation is dued on Wed during IMB tutorial. So we need to have our EAC meeting ASAP & also a separate meeting to coordinate our re-enactment skit of EAC. Urgent! 50% eh. Gotta do the best.

7. JAPANESE.

Make-up lesson!

Activity : Role-Play & E-Assesment Test.

AN IMPORTANT UPDATE.

Hi. (: Quick update to what's been happening lately.

1. QUARANTINE!

As all of you know, you are being quarantined due to the unusually high number of fever cases in our class. However, there is E-learning to be done. But for those on MC, you are excused from doing E-Learning. Please report back to school on 7th Aug. We have National Day celebration on that day from 3pm-5.30pm. Dress in either RED or WHITE. Thanks. I've yet to confirm whether we have to attend morning lessons on Friday. Will update you all ASAP.

* IMPORTANT.

If anyone of you fall sick during the quarantined period, visit a doctor & get a MC if need to. & UPDATE ME OR SHAQIL IMMEDIATELY regarding the duration and reason of the MC. Thanks!

& CHECK YOUR EMAILS DAILY. PLEASE. BECAUSE THAT'S HOW WE ARE GONNA KEEP IN CONTACT WITH EACH OTHER THROUGHOUT THE QUARANTINE PERIOD.

2. E-LEARNING.

{ There is a practical assignment to be done & handed up by 7th Aug. Submission of MicroA website is also on 7th Aug. Check your emails, people. For clarification, ask JIA JUANG. Thanks. }

{ An e-assignment has been mailed to you all. Check it out & get it done by 7th Aug. IMB Quiz is postponed but not sure to what date yet. Will confirm later. For clarification, ask Hew Mun. Thanks. }

- Physical Chemistry
{ Dr. Subra wishes to hold a replacement lecture for Physical Chem when we get back. Details to be confirmed later. As of now, no assignment given. }

- Inorganic Chemistry
{ Lectures notes on Chemistry of Metals II has been sent, so is the tutorial. Please get it done before 7th Aug. Thanks. }

Okay, sorry, but somehow I kinda lost the list of those who paid. So I'm partially clueless on who paid for the Tshirt. So please IM me if you alr paid for the shirt. Please be honest & own up if you didn't pay. If I find out that the amount of money & the number of people who have paid doesn't tally, I'm gonna take it from the Class Fund itself & that might mean I will need to collect more money for Class Fund. Because I've not lost any money at all, that I'm sure. So HONESTY, people. Thanks.

Attention: this is the spammer a.k.a Shaqil or its the other way around. Just to inform you guys:

We are having a Micro A tutorial soon. but the only available timeslots are, after 6pm on thurs and after 5pm on fri. Please decide asap and let Jia Juang knw by tomorrow, he is the one doing the liason with the teacher-in-charge.

Also, the tutorial timing for Inorg Chem has been changed from morning to 1pm to 2pm at Q516, just like last friday. anyone who has any violent objections or cant make it, do let me know so that i can inform Ms Lye. there are no other tentative timings available for the tutorial. So if u do have very violent objections, it maybe quite difficult to make time for the lesson. so do inform me early so that i can liase with her.

Do send me the comm skills slides by tomorrow afternoon. i need to collate and hand up to Ms Chan.

Regarding the Lab Vacation Attachment thing with Dr. Ng during the holidays, those interested do a short write out. the write out should be about why u want to attend this attachment thing. Send this write out to Dr. Ng himself via Email to [Patrick_NG@nyp.gov.sg] You will be doing things like the PCR (not CPR, its polymerase chain reaction i think) and other stuff. The tentative dates are 15 & 16th june or 18 & 19th june or 22 & 23th june. there will be 6 people going for this thing, 2 person per session, and they will be chosen according to the write out that u will be sending him (not the 1st come 1st serve basis thing that i held. so now its free for all to try). The stuff u guys will b doing can be done in one day, but it depends on other stuff as well. If u guys get chosen, do inform me n i will tell u the things to bring.
